Hotel Sab Sab ***

Situated on the easterly end of  the Santa Maria Beach, about 20 minutes from Sal International Airport, the Hotel Sab Sab (Sab means "a good feeling", so Sab Sab is doubly so!) has 46 standard twin or double sea view rooms (with balcony or terrace) plus 2 suites and 2 apartments. All have TV, telephone, mini-bar, air conditioning, ceiling fan ventilators and a beautiful natural air draft ventilation through the windows installed with wire screens.

Guests stay here on a half board basis (which includes a half Litre of water, a quarter litre of wine or beer or a soft drink per person).

Facilities include swimming pool, Restaurant specialising in local and international cuisine along with bars, gym, and a tennis court. Also on-site there are a wind-surf centre (giving instruction and renting standard and professional boards) and a diving centre.

Our Opinion
Newly refurbished, this small and modest but attractive Hotel is in the prime position for wind surfing, being on a part of the beach where waves are less and the wind more settled. The compulsory half board keeps costs down.

 

Package Prices Winter 2008/9

Prices include economy seats on the scheduled flights of TAP Air Portugal from Heathrow (or Gatwick) via Lisbon to Sal Island, inter-Island flights as appropriate, all airport taxes, security and fuel surcharges, transfers from Airport to Hotel and return, and 7 or 14 nights accommodation at  the board stated, Visa fee and Local representation. Club Class seats are available on International flights at a supplement.
