Belorizonte Oásis Atlantico Hotel **** SANTA MARIA

Consisting of a mixture of 60 hotel rooms (the superior rooms) on two floors each with balcony arranged in two wings overlooking the pool and 173 bungalow chalets (all equipped with air conditioning, mini-bar, bathroom, satellite TV, telephone, and safe) in a random pattern between the main hotel block and the sea, this four star hotel (local rating) is on the beach close to the centre of the village of Santa Maria. It offers numerous facilities to its guests including diving lessons, sports centre, sport fishing, tennis court, two swimming pools, Jacuzzi, two restaurants facing the sea and three bars. There is also a Kindergarden. In addition one can use the free facilities of the Hotel Novorizonte next door.

Our Opinion
Both Rooms and Bungalows are modest in size and furnishings but are air conditioned. An outstanding aspect of our stay was the superb buffet breakfast which includes numerous hot dishes as well as exotic fruits etc, however Client feed-back suggests that lunch and dinner are less good unless one indulges in the a la carte Restaurant. The facilities offered will entertain the most lively Client. Clients may stay on B&B or HB.

Package Prices Winter 2008/9

Prices include economy seats on the scheduled flights of TAP Air Portugal from Heathrow (or Gatwick) via Lisbon to Sal Island, inter-Island flights as appropriate, all airport taxes, security and fuel surcharges, transfers from Airport to Hotel and return, and 7 or 14 nights accommodation at the board stated, Visa fee and Local representation. Club Class seats are available on International flights at a supplement.
